Luka has owned and operated Luka’s Italian Cuisine for 23 years in Ridgefield Park, and now is nearly a year in business at his new location at 10 River Road in Bogota.
The transition to an updated location has been incredible, and customers of Luka’s have been very responsive. The larger space gives guests the full comfort they always wanted from the original location.
Luka now has the space and flexibility to accommodate up to 110 people for private parties, as well as more kitchen space to experiment with new specials daily. Featuring the same delicious food with a more enjoyable environment, what is there not to love?
Luka trained while traveling through Europe as a young man. By the time he emigrated to the United States, he had the technical basis for his mouthwatering style of cooking.
With stops in Florida and California, Luka finally ended up the Head Chef at Café Italiano in Northern NJ. Eventually he outgrew the position, and decided it was time to open his own establishment and truly express himself.
Luka’s was a hit right off the bat. Bergen county residents came from far and wide to try out his famous “Gnocchi Bolognese” and daily fresh fish. 23 years later, Luka is still dreaming up creative specials, and roaming the dining room.
Truly a self-made man, Chef Luka would like to pass his culinary knowledge onto his customers, along with some interesting and funny stories.
